The Bachelor of Music program equips students for professional paths in music performance, teaching, or advanced academic pursuits. This curriculum emphasizes specialized training in performance (vocal or instrumental), composition, or teaching methods, alongside comprehensive studies in music history and theory. Seven specialization tracks are available: accompanying, composition, instrumental performance, jazz-commercial music, keyboard studies, piano pedagogy, and vocal performance. The Bachelor of Arts in Music provides three concentration options: music history and theory, liberal arts integration, and music education (with specialized tracks in choral, general, or instrumental instruction). This degree aims to develop graduates who: possess expertise in music history, literature, and theoretical concepts, exhibit skilled and thoughtful musical practice through performance, improvisation, composition, and analytical work, maintain professional standards in written and verbal communication, excel in collaborative musical endeavors both onstage and behind the scenes, and integrate global viewpoints and contemporary developments into their musical knowledge and abilities.
