The Master of Science in Clinical Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling is a 60-credit accredited program designed to train culturally aware professionals capable of delivering ethical rehabilitation and mental health services in compliance with professional ethical codes and practice guidelines. The curriculum features two specialization tracks: Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

This graduate program prioritizes practical training, enabling students to apply evidence-based approaches in real counseling environments. Through immersive fieldwork and core coursework, participants cultivate counseling techniques, leadership abilities, and inclusive practices.

Participants can work toward becoming Certified Rehabilitation Counselors (CRC) and National Certified Counselors, while also completing requirements for the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) certification. Recognized among the nation's best by U.S. News and World Report, the program leads in practical rehabilitation training across California and nationwide.

The Clinical Rehabilitation Counseling (CRC) track holds full accreditation from CACREP, a CHEA-recognized accrediting body, ensuring mastery of counseling theory, skills, professional identity formation, and personal development. Although the Clinical Mental Health Concentration is newly established and not yet CACREP-accredited, it maintains CACREP-aligned standards to deliver comprehensive, high-caliber education for all students.
