The Master's program in Instructional Design and Educational Technology (IDET) is offered through the University of Utah's Department of Educational Psychology.
This program equips students with skills to assess, create, deliver, and assess technology-enhanced learning solutions for educational settings. Participants will explore both theoretical foundations of tech-assisted teaching and practical applications to enhance instructional effectiveness.
The instructional design (ID) curriculum focuses on developing competencies to determine learning objectives and craft tailored educational systems.
The educational technology (ET) component teaches students to build digital learning platforms where technological tools effectively address and facilitate educational objectives.
