The graduate program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Fresno State offers students a comprehensive education through academic courses, hands-on research, and supervised practical training.
The Association for Behavior Analysis International has accredited the following courses as meeting the academic prerequisites for the Board Certified Behavior Analyst Examination. Prospective candidates must fulfill other criteria to qualify for the exam.
The ABA curriculum equips students with practical skills in treating children and adults with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental challenges, along with applications in health and fitness, animal behavior, organizational management, and sustainable practices.

Admission to Master of Arts in Applied Behavior Analysis, is based upon the satisfactory completion of prerequisite courses selected from the core courses required for the California State University, Fresno undergraduate major in psychology, or their equivalent.
Admission to classified graduate standing requires a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 3.0, as well as a minimum grade point average of 3.0 in undergraduate psychology courses.
English language Score: TOEFL – 80 iBT, or IELTS – 6.5, or Pearson’s Test of English - 53, or iTEP – 4.5. Application Deadlines is February 1.
