The Spanish Program delivers a comprehensive curriculum designed to develop and refine language abilities, reaching advanced and near-fluency levels, while also cultivating deep knowledge of literary and cultural studies. These encompass Spanish, U.S. Hispanic, Mexican, and Central and South American traditions. Students gain exceptional immersive experiences through summer programs in Oaxaca, Mexico, and Quito, Ecuador. Many also join the CSU International Program in Spain (Madrid and Granada). The program strongly recommends majors pursue study abroad opportunities in Spanish-speaking nations.
