Students pursuing the MD/MPH dual degree need to submit separate applications to Alpert Medical School and Brown's Graduate School. All medical students - whether admitted through PLME, Standard, EIP, Postbaccalaureate, or Advanced Standing tracks - can apply for the MPH program during their initial three years at Alpert Medical School. While the 5-year MD/MPH program isn't open to non-Brown medical students, those from other institutions may apply to the MPH program through regular channels and potentially transfer up to 4 relevant medical courses toward their MPH requirements.
Graduates of non-U.S. colleges and universities who have completed the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor's degree may apply for admission to the Brown University Graduate School.
Regarding TOEFL, the recommended minimum score for admission consideration is 577 on the paper-based test and 90 on the Internet-based test. For IELTS, the recommended minimum overall band score is 7.
