Bradley's printmaking program develops adaptable artists skilled in diverse printmaking methods. This degree provides essential training for careers in education and entrepreneurship.
As a studio art student, you'll explore creativity through coursework in art history, drawing, and digital media. Alongside this foundational training, you'll engage in practical printmaking classes covering techniques like etching, engraving, woodcut, linocut, lithography, silkscreen, monotype, and mixed-media approaches.
The printmaking degree offers three tracks: B.A., B.S., or B.F.A. The B.A. and B.S. focus on liberal arts, while the B.F.A. serves as the professional pathway with intensive studio practice. Through hands-on workshops and seminars, you'll refine technical skills and artistic vision. For expanded career possibilities, consider combining printmaking with complementary fields like marketing, environmental studies, or gender studies through a dual major or minor.
