Ball State's speech pathology master's program will train you to become a fully certified and licensed speech-language pathologist. This rapidly expanding, high-paying profession provides diverse opportunities to utilize your expertise across various work environments. Our curriculum prepares you for both Indiana state licensing and the clinical competence certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Speech-language pathologists (also known as speech therapists) evaluate, identify, manage, and assist in preventing communication disorders including speech, language, cognitive function, voice, swallowing, fluency, and related conditions.
You must have a bachelor’s degree from an institution recognized by a regional accrediting association.
You must have earned a minimum of a 2.75 GPA from the undergraduate degree-granting institution.
Required Scores to demonstrate English Proficiency: TOEFL iBT 79; IELTS 6.5 Band; Pearson's PTE 53
