The Bachelor of Arts in Art with an Art Studies concentration is a dynamic, interdisciplinary program. Art studies students engage with diverse visual arts forms, create hands-on artwork, and build essential skills for a creative career. The flexible degree structure incorporates art history alongside modern artistic methods across multiple studio areas, including animation, drawing, ceramics, illustration, printmaking, painting, photography, and sculpture. The program is enriched by the School of Art galleries, Ceramics Research Center and Archive, and ASU Art Museum, which host regular virtual and in-person events featuring visiting artists and scholars.
