The four-year certificate program offers students a structured curriculum focused on Advertising studies. Participants will build diverse skills and creative abilities showcased in their portfolios. Upon completion, graduates are equipped for careers in Advertising. The program includes electives and art history classes to complement the core studies. Unlike the BFA track, certificate students are not required to complete liberal arts courses.
Undergraduate students will achieve these learning outcomes:
Design Proficiency
Skillfully employ visual media, including hand-drawn illustrations, to express concepts during the creative development.
Incorporate fundamental design principles into projects.
Communication Abilities
Develop compelling narratives that showcase mastery of storytelling components: theme, plot, tension, characterization, and visual elements.
Deliver confident presentations of ideas in various group environments.
Articulate sophisticated concepts through concise, clear written communication.
