Our programs attract diverse students spanning Arts and Humanities to Sciences, from lifelong archaeology enthusiasts to those like Jess who discovered the field in college.

Heritage encompasses the tangible and intangible remnants of human history. Through studying everything from ancient structures to cultural practices, we gain insight into how societies have shaped their identities over time.

The BA in Archaeology and Heritage merges deep historical understanding with contemporary relevance. Students examine heritage interpretations while developing practical skills for public engagement with history. The program addresses heritage conflicts and preservation strategies for future generations.

Known for our warm community, our department fosters close student-faculty relationships. Opportunities abound, whether joining the Archaeology Society or participating in international research.
