Our BA History and Heritage program explores the social and political influences that shape how we engage with history in daily life and the stories behind cultural heritage.
This unique interdisciplinary course combines history, art history, and museum studies to examine the past from multiple perspectives. You'll have the flexibility to explore diverse historical periods and locations, ranging from Tudor England to Nazi Germany, from Maoist China to contemporary multicultural Britain. Alongside traditional history courses, you'll examine ethical and legal discussions surrounding heritage, study preservation techniques, and explore how heritage is presented and interpreted by various communities.
