We're deeply committed to how literature in all its forms can enlighten and reshape society. At Sussex, you'll study works spanning a millennium of global literary history. We've curated texts that address pivotal social justice issues from different eras and cultures for your exploration.

In the School of Media, Arts and Humanities, you'll join a welcoming community of students and scholars. This course offers you the flexibility to:

examine fundamental concepts in literary theory - including authorship, identity, and political themes
