At Chester, you can participate in a short placement after Year 2 (Level 5), potentially in locations like Spain or Costa Rica, followed by an academic year in Spanish-speaking regions or French-speaking nations. This flexible structure lets you divide your international experience across various placements and countries if you choose this path.
During your first year, you'll have the option to begin learning an additional language from beginner level.
Through our Languages For All initiative, you can study one of eleven supplementary languages at different proficiency levels alongside your degree, with full fee reimbursement upon course completion.

Instruction takes place in our modern, specially designed facility featuring three digital language labs and a dedicated resource center, with all modules delivered in interactive workshop formats.
