Our combined Swedish and Portuguese program provides exceptional opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in humanities studies. Students can select from an extensive array of modules spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical contexts, sociological perspectives, philosophical traditions, artistic expressions, cinematic works, and various cultural aspects related to their chosen languages. During the first, second, and final years, participants will engage in Swedish and Portuguese language courses alongside cultural studies that explore diverse subjects through literary works, films, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis.
The third year involves international study, divided between two nations where Swedish and Portuguese are spoken. All students attain equivalent language proficiency levels, regardless of whether they begin a language as complete beginners or with prior experience.
