Our degree program in Norwegian and Russian provides extensive opportunities to cultivate comprehensive, comparative, and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from a diverse array of modules covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects tied to their chosen language(s).
During the first, second, and final years, you'll enroll in language courses for your selected languages alongside related cultural studies. The program also allows enrollment in interdisciplinary modules from SELCS and SSEES, exploring literature, film studies, linguistics, and history through multiple lenses.
Your third academic year will be spent overseas. The program ensures equivalent language proficiency attainment, whether you're beginning a new language or building upon existing knowledge.
