The MLitt in Interdisciplinary English Studies examines how culture is represented, imaginatively transformed, and symbolized through language and literature. This interdisciplinary approach leverages the combined expertise of the Department of Humanities and its English Studies division. The program equips students to analyze how cultural elements rely on narrative, fiction, and linguistic expression, with applications across education, business, government, and nonprofit sectors. It also provides foundational preparation for PhD studies, which typically require a Master's degree. Career Prospects: Alumni develop specialized competencies in textual analysis, cultural symbolism, and traditional frameworks.
