The Faculty of Health Sciences offers research programs at both MPhil and PhD levels, including the option to transfer from MPhil to PhD. These degree pathways present distinctive academic challenges while allowing you to conduct specialized project work. Under experienced supervision, you'll investigate your chosen topic and compose a thesis (with specified word limits) to be defended in an oral examination - 40,000 words for MPhil and 80,000 words for PhD. Additionally, you'll complete the Postgraduate Certificate in Research Methods, a training course designed to enhance your understanding and practical skills in scholarly research methodologies.
