They provide guidance for PhD candidates across various Psychology-related fields. The Faculty of Education, Health and Wellbeing (FEHW) fosters research initiatives for more than 240 doctoral students spanning Education, Health, Social Work, Social Care, Sport, and Psychology. Our research environment is vibrant and multicultural. We collaborate with students from local, national, and global backgrounds on an extensive array of research topics.
Numerous faculty supervisors possess world-renowned proficiency in diverse research approaches and often engage in interdisciplinary work, enabling supervision at the crossroads of fields like Education and Health or Sport and Psychology. Students benefit from an active schedule of seminars and workshops, while being part of a larger university research network offering comprehensive resources and opportunities.
PhD programs generally involve completing a research thesis either full-time (typically three years) or part-time (usually six years). These doctoral projects focus on theoretical investigations aimed at expanding knowledge or insight within a discipline to guide future research, teaching, and policy development.
