You can pursue an MPhil degree in one year, a DEdPsy in two years, or a PhD in three years. Both MPhil and PhD programs in Psychology are available across our research specializations: Cognition, Health Psychology & Behavioural Medicine, and Development & Educational Psychology. During your MPhil or PhD studies, you'll participate in the Postgraduate Certificate in Researcher Professional Development (PgCert RDP), requiring completion of various personal, professional, and career advancement activities. These initiatives are designed to cultivate transferable skills applicable throughout your career, aligned with a specific researcher development framework.

Qualification Requirements
You require to have a first-class or upper second-class UK Honours degree, or overseas equivalent, in Psychology or a similar discipline.
Normally, the majority of our MPhil and PhD students have completed a Masters degree in Psychology after their Honours degree.
IELTS - 6.5 overall (no individual band less than 5.5)
TOEFL ibt - 80 overall, with the following minimum scores in each component-(Listening- 17, Reading- 18, Speaking- 20, Writing- 18)
