The MRes program in Anthropology, Art and Perception offers specialized postgraduate training for studying human creativity, artistic practices, material culture, and visual expression through an anthropological lens. Grounded in perceptual studies, this program bridges disciplinary divides between art and anthropology. Housed in the Department of Social Anthropology under the School of Philosophical, Anthropological and Film Studies, the program equips students with innovative anthropological frameworks and advanced research methodologies. Participants engage with contemporary research through hands-on learning labs featuring guest specialists and field excursions. With intimate class settings and cross-disciplinary perspectives, students can choose between a traditional library-based thesis or one incorporating practical elements.
