Become proficient in two contemporary languages while exploring their origins, acquisition, and evolution. Combine French, German, or Spanish with linguistic studies, beginning at undergraduate level and earning a master's degree within four years. This program includes a year abroad at partner universities in one or two countries. Enhance your linguistic abilities and analytical skills while immersing yourself in foreign societies and cultures. Beginners are welcome - additional instruction and funding for overseas language courses after your first year will accelerate your learning. Regardless of your language combination, you will:
develop advanced linguistic competence with authentic pronunciation
acquire tools to analyze cultural practices and belief systems
examine societies where your target languages are used
complete a research project on a subject of personal interest
