You'll examine and question your understanding of art through interaction with diverse artistic approaches and theoretical perspectives. Our program treats fine art as an evolving set of forms, ideas, and creative processes for tackling contemporary societal challenges. You'll explore how art intersects with broader cultural forces like ethnicity, class, gender, sexuality, human identity, and our connection to nature and the environment. You'll develop the skills to engage with the world as both artists and thoughtful global citizens, becoming innovators in your chosen creative disciplines. Through hands-on experience with various artistic techniques, you'll test your creative boundaries and uncover your unique artistic voice. You'll receive your own studio space, providing ample opportunities to experiment with different materials and approaches while building an impressive portfolio of work.
