The foundation pathway offers students alternative entry routes to advance to the BA (Hons) Fine Art degree. This preparatory year helps you cultivate abilities in various artistic mediums while establishing essential creative methodologies before beginning the undergraduate curriculum. Throughout this initial phase, you'll investigate artistic techniques applicable to visual design, animation, illustration, print media, fine arts, and photographic arts.
After satisfactorily finishing the foundation program, you'll transition to the BA (Hons) Fine Art undergraduate course, fully prepared with the necessary competencies to thrive in degree-level studies.
The BA (Hons) Fine Art program develops numerous adaptable capabilities such as self-directed learning, objective establishment, time and task organization, analytical and professional composition, creative solutions, spatial arrangement, resource allocation, multifaceted project coordination, and teamwork - all vital for modern, internationalized, adaptable careers across various industries. Additionally, you'll complete your studies with a portfolio of independent artistic work that reflects sophisticated critical, theoretical and contextual comprehension of current fine art practices.
