Our PhD program in Human Sciences enables you to pursue innovative research across disciplines such as Psychology, Social Work, Public Health, and Sports Science, guided by our renowned faculty.
When you enroll in a research degree (MPhil/PhD) at our School of Human Sciences, you'll work alongside globally recognized experts and researchers. You'll have access to cutting-edge facilities, including observation labs, eye-tracking technology, EEG equipment, Edu-Logger systems, Nexus 4, and Biotrace devices.
As a Human Sciences research student, you'll become part of a vibrant academic community and have access to all the resources, networks, and events at our Institute for Lifecourse Development (ILD). PhD candidates may receive funding for research expenses and opportunities to showcase their work at conferences worldwide.
Applicants should have: A taught Master's degree, with a minimum average of 60% in all areas of assessment (e.g. Merit or above), in a generic subject area relevant to the subject matter of the proposed research project, and/or; A First Class or Second Class, First Division (Upper Second Class) Honours degree in a subject area relevant to the proposed research project. IELTS score of 6.5 with 6.0 in each skill.
