Our comprehensive biology degree program takes an interdisciplinary approach to exploring life sciences, featuring an introductory foundation year with more accessible entry requirements.
Biology encompasses all facets of living organisms, ranging from pharmaceutical development and disease prevention to ecological systems and global warming. Our innovative curriculum covers wide-ranging subjects including cancer treatments, practical plant science, and brain research. Students start with a preparatory foundation year before progressing to the standard three-year program.

A level: a relevant Science subject, such as, Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
BTEC National: Extended Diploma in Applied Science.
A level and BTEC National: Diploma/Extended Certificate in Applied Science and an A Level in a relevant Science subject, such as, Biology, Chemistry or Physics.
International Baccalaureate: 24 points overall including Higher Level Science.
Access to Higher Education Diploma: Science.
T Level: Science (Laboratory Sciences) at grade Pass (with D or E on the Core).
In addition, you will need: GCSE Mathematics at grade 4/C and GCSE English Language/Literature at grade 4/C. Equivalent qualifications may be considered.
