This four-year degree program builds upon the Astrophysics BSc by adding an extra year of specialized study. Students can deepen their expertise through advanced elective courses and a dedicated research project. Recognized by the Institute of Physics (IOP), the curriculum incorporates cutting-edge advancements in the field, drawing from our top-tier research. Partnerships with industry leaders and global research institutions offer valuable real-world perspectives. Practical training occurs at UCL's University of London Observatory (ULO), with additional opportunities through our strong ties to the Royal Astronomical Society. Among the third-year options is an observational field trip to France's Observatoire de Haute Provence.
