Physics spans from the smallest quarks to the vastest galaxies, covering all matter and timescales in between, while Astrophysics focuses on the fundamental physical principles governing stars, galaxies, and the cosmos.
Overview
This program explores the physical properties of celestial objects and phenomena, along with the tools and methods employed in contemporary astronomical studies.
We aim to nurture your interests while equipping you with skills for a successful career. You'll acquire versatile abilities that create opportunities in the expanding space sector, finance, manufacturing, and technology fields.
During your initial year, you'll build a foundation in core physical science concepts, including electromagnetism, optics, mathematics, motion, heat dynamics, and material properties. You'll also enhance your practical, computational, data analysis, and problem-solving capabilities.
In subsequent years, you'll study diverse topics like quantum physics, condensed matter, atomic and nuclear physics, electromagnetic theory, optical science, advanced mathematics, as well as cosmic phenomena across different wavelengths, planetary systems, and the structure of the universe.
