Our degree program in Spanish and Yiddish provides exceptional opportunities for cultivating comprehensive, cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from an extensive array of courses covering literature, linguistic studies, history, sociology, philosophy, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects related to their language studies. Spanish language instruction occurs at UCL's School of European Languages, Culture & Society (SELCS), while Yiddish courses are offered by UCL's Hebrew & Jewish Studies department.
During your first, second, and final academic years, you'll enroll in language courses along with complementary studies in literature, cultural studies, historical contexts, and linguistic analysis related to your chosen languages.
