Our combined Spanish and Art History program provides exceptional opportunities to explore interdisciplinary and cross-cultural perspectives in the humanities. Students can select from diverse course offerings spanning literature, linguistic studies, historical analysis, sociological perspectives, philosophical inquiry, visual arts, cinema, and other cultural aspects related to Spanish-speaking societies. During the first, second, and final years, students will engage with Spanish language instruction alongside studies of its literary traditions, cultural contexts, historical developments, and linguistic structures, complemented by Art History coursework (consult the Art History department for specific module information).
The third year involves international study in a Spanish-speaking nation, either through university enrollment or professional internship. All students attain equivalent language proficiency, regardless of their initial Spanish language background.
