The School of Mathematics at the University of Bristol has grown significantly over the past ten years, now boasting around 130 faculty members and 90 postgraduate students. Our research spans numerous disciplines within pure and applied mathematics as well as statistical science. With exceptional intellectual, educational, and physical resources, we deliver top-tier training for our postgraduate scholars. Our program earned 4th place in the UK according to the Times Higher Education's Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2021 assessment for Mathematical Sciences.
