Our faculty members actively engage in pioneering research across diverse fields such as applied analysis, computational mathematics, continuum mechanics, mathematical physics, financial mathematics, operations research, and applied statistics. We tackle biologically and engineering-relevant challenges while exploring fundamental mathematical and phenomenological mechanisms. A key focus lies in creating novel analytical, asymptotic, computational, and hybrid methodologies. Our investigations extend to random matrix theory, quantum information science, quantum mechanics foundations, mesoscopic disordered systems, statistical mechanics, graph theory, matroid theory, infinite-dimensional Riemannian geometry, algebraic geometry, and orthogonal polynomials.
