This program will enhance, broaden, and strengthen your current fine art skills while facilitating growth through research-driven practice. Central to this course is interactive dialogue, featuring ongoing critical conversations supported by engaging group activities, seminars, team projects, and personalized instruction. The curriculum embraces all areas of contemporary art, including installation, video, painting, performance, sculpture, text, and sound. Core seminars employ collaborative work to examine the broader landscape of art theory and practice, while individual tutorials refine discussions about your personal projects. Guided by experts, you'll discover diverse research methodologies, expand your analytical skills, and cultivate critical perspectives on your artistic work. The program investigates your creative goals across academic, practical, and professional settings. It starts with peer discussions about your artistic vision and culminates in a public showcase, where you'll transform theories, concepts, techniques, and processes into finished artworks. You'll receive continuous support in expressing your ideas through visual, verbal, written, and tangible forms.
Applicants who hold a degree from another discipline or have experiential learning in lieu of a degree may also be considered for entry via the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL).
