Enhance and develop your fine art or printmaking skills while refining your professional artistic approach. Build upon your practical, theoretical, and research abilities within a supportive yet critically engaging environment. Our Master of Fine Arts program offers an intensive, studio-focused curriculum spanning one full year (or two years part-time) dedicated to contemporary art practice. The course embraces the interdisciplinary nature of modern art, encouraging exploration across various mediums such as drawing, painting, printmaking, sculpture, photography, film, digital media, installation, sound, performance, and collaborative social practices.
You can either work across multiple mediums or focus on a specific discipline, with access to specialized facilities including the Printroom, 3D/sculpture workshops, and Futures Lab. Additional resources include photography darkrooms, digital workstations, and media equipment for video production and digital imaging.
These resources allow you to explore both historical and modern perspectives on information technology, reproducibility, and mediated imagery within the broader context of print media.
Likewise, our 3D workshop and Annexe facilities support both traditional and innovative approaches to contemporary art, offering tools and equipment for working with materials like wood, metal, clay, plaster, as well as laser cutting and other fabrication techniques.
Technical workshops and refresher sessions are available for both traditional and emerging processes, encouraging creative experimentation under the guidance of our multidisciplinary artist instructors.
