Kingston's aerospace engineering program features a forward-thinking syllabus, strong industry connections, and state-of-the-art resources. It's an ideal environment to explore aerodynamics, propulsion systems, structural design, mechanical dynamics, and material science.
Students gain hands-on experience by implementing classroom knowledge to solve real-world aerospace challenges and collaborating on team design initiatives.
The department provides both Bachelor's and Master's level qualifications, including a focused track in Space Technology.
The extended MEng program offers accelerated progression toward professional accreditation (CEng) and includes opportunities for work placements in industry settings.

MEng: 128-144 UCAS points from three A-levels or equivalent Level 3 qualifications.
A-levels to include Mathematics and two science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Further Maths). Alternatively, BTEC Extended Diploma in Engineering or related subject such as Aerospace/Aeronautical/Electrical/Electronic/Manufacturing and Mechanical Engineering will be considered (grades DDM).
Candidates are normally required to hold five GCSE subjects at grade C/4 or above, including Mathematics and English Language.
For this course it is Academic IELTS of 6.0, with no element below 5.5.
International Baccalaureate (IB)
Pass English Language (A1/A2) with 4 or above at Higher Level (HL), or 5 or above at Standard Level (SL)
