Our History program offers a broad, globally-oriented curriculum with a modern approach. Focusing mainly on recent and current historical studies, this program equips you with essential research and analytical skills, enhancing your capacity to process, convey, and evaluate intricate information effectively.
Mirroring today's interconnected world, the syllabus spans British, South Asian, European, African, and North and South American histories, delving into themes like colonialism, post-colonial transitions, migration, minority communities, gender studies, visual history, and the evolution of sports and recreation.
This program strengthens your skills in comprehending, articulating, and critically assessing sophisticated material. As you advance, you'll encounter deeper investigations and opportunities to pursue your historical passions. You'll learn from enthusiastic educators who are specialists in their disciplines, fostering an engaging academic setting with diverse teaching and evaluation approaches.
In addition to History, you'll study Mandarin at either introductory or intermediate levels, building language proficiency while exploring cultural, social, political, historical, and artistic subjects.
Duration: Three years full-time, four years with optional placement.
