Brunel Anthropology comprises a team of globally renowned scholars creating innovative research based on ethnographic studies across Africa, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Our unified Social Anthropology research group brings together faculty, postdocs, and doctoral candidates, building upon our established expertise in global health anthropology, childhood/youth studies, anthropological theory, and political violence while addressing emerging worldwide issues. This includes pioneering research on ecological emergencies, interspecies relationships, and futurity studies.
