Law students pursuing this degree at Birkbeck receive guidance from globally recognized scholars, along with instruction in legal theory, research methodologies, presentation techniques, seminar participation, and access to comprehensive library resources. Our research focuses primarily on social and legal theory alongside interdisciplinary approaches. We encourage applications from both legal professionals and those from other disciplines interested in exploring diverse aspects of domestic, European, and international law.

Additional support includes funding for academic conferences, thorough annual progress reviews, and postgraduate representation on the Law School's governing body.
