Worcester's research capabilities have seen substantial growth over the past decade, mirroring the University's overall expansion. As a doctoral candidate, you'll become part of our thriving Research School community and engage with our energetic academic research atmosphere.
Available for both full-time and part-time enrollment (with a maximum duration of 6 years).
Each candidate is assigned a tailored study plan, determined by their prior research experience and academic background.
The program provides extensive optional training workshops for all participants.
Our faculty possesses specialized knowledge in diverse fields including constitutional law, political science, judicial authority, human rights legislation, criminal law and evidentiary procedures, jury trials, as well as impeachment processes and accountability mechanisms.
Eligible students may request financial assistance through our Research Student Support Scheme.
Upon reviewing your application, we assess whether we can provide appropriate supervision for your project and start assembling your dedicated supervisory team. This typically includes a Director of Studies (DoS) serving as primary advisor, along with at least one additional supervisor to offer supplementary guidance throughout your academic journey.
