The School of Modern Languages provides opportunities to pursue PhD or MPhil degrees in Hispanic, Catalan, or Galician Studies. With a strong history of supporting postgraduate scholars, the School ensures each student receives personalized guidance through one or two supervisors, based on their research focus. Students enjoy comprehensive access to computing resources (including translation software), library materials, and all School facilities such as the film collection. A designated postgraduate workspace is available within the School for regular use.
PhD durations: 3-4 years full-time or 6 years part-time; MPhil durations: 2 years full-time or 3 years part-time.
