You'll explore adolescent development within secondary education and receive guidance to excel in teaching. This QTS-accredited PGCE is widely recognized in Wales and England, with potential applicability internationally for entering the teaching field.

Career Prospects
The Secondary PGCE with QTS holds recognition throughout Wales and England, frequently serving as a transferable qualification for teaching careers worldwide. It thoroughly equips you for the challenges of teaching in Wales and other regions. Aspiring educators looking to teach outside Wales and England should verify QTS recognition with the relevant country's teaching regulatory body. CaBan's programs prepare graduates for diverse educational roles while cultivating crucial leadership competencies. Research increasingly demonstrates that school leadership significantly influences student achievement, surpassed only by classroom teachers' impact. The CaBan collaboration brings global expertise in cutting-edge leadership theories and practices, informing both the program curriculum and regional/national initiatives to build capable school leadership teams.
Additionally, the program provides brief placements in secondary and special education settings, along with short or extended placements in outdoor education centers and other learning environments, allowing you to gain specialized experience aligned with your professional interests.
