This is an innovative Structured PhD program designed for students to earn their doctorate in 4 years of full-time study. The research component will be based in one of the Faculty's six Departments, while coursework will be shared Faculty-wide to optimize learning experiences. This approach fosters collaboration, expertise sharing, and high-impact translational research aligned with the Faculty's commitment to improving human welfare. Students can choose from quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research modules, ensuring comprehensive understanding of research participants.
The program objectives include:
delivering academically rigorous postgraduate research education meeting national and international standards
training students in all research aspects including methodologies, critical analysis, and ethical considerations
developing professional research competencies
preparing graduates to conduct meaningful translational research with national and global relevance.
