The Faculty of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences provides outstanding opportunities for graduate students passionate about disciplines including history, sociology, political science, legal studies, music, and various languages (English, Irish, French, German, Spanish, Japanese, TESOL). The Faculty specializes in research across multiple fields: Criminal Justice, Applied Linguistics, European Affairs, Irish-German Relations, Peace and Conflict Studies, International Business Law, Global Politics, Social Welfare, Gender Research, Utopian Literature, and Literary/Cultural Analysis. Learners may pursue advanced research degrees, either an MA/LLM or PhD, in any of these specialized domains.

Applicants will normally be expected to hold an Honours degree (minimum 2.1) or equivalent in a discipline appropriate to their area of proposed research.

TOEFL- (paper based) - 580.
