Available secondary subjects currently comprise English, Irish (Gaeilge), Geography, and Mathematics.
This program emphasizes teacher preparation, training students to instruct Physical Education alongside their selected elective subject, while also exploring educational theories relevant to modern society. Mandatory school placements for teaching practice form a crucial component of professional growth.
The PE curriculum examines human movement through multiple lenses including kinesiology (movement science), sociology, psychology, and philosophy, combined with pedagogical techniques.
