This curriculum delivers comprehensive training in Equine Science while allowing students to specialize in either Equitation (the skill and practice of horseback riding) or Equine Business Management. Program alumni play a vital role in advancing the equine sector by applying their scientific knowledge, riding expertise, and business acumen. The four-year course includes two semesters annually, plus mandatory work experience.
UL's Cooperative Education (Coop) initiative forms an essential part of student development, immersing participants in professional environments with varied challenges and requirements. This structured, credit-bearing program is mandatory across all disciplines, featuring a six-to-eight-month placement during the second or third year. Placement schedules are determined by each program's specific academic calendar.
