The Higher Diploma in Fine Art is a collaborative program between Burren College of Art and the University of Galway, hosted at the Burren College. This qualification mirrors the American Post Baccalaureate program and is commonly referred to as the 'Post Bac'. Participants enroll as students at both Burren College of Art and University of Galway. The program collaborates with London's Royal College of Art and Chicago's School of the Art Institute, with both institutions contributing visiting faculty members.
This program helps graduate students define their artistic voice and prepares them for future professional development in the arts. Post Bac participants enjoy exclusive studio access at Burren College of Art and can consult with all relevant BCA faculty members.
