The MSc in Medical Electronics & Digital Health equips students with essential electrical, electronic, and computing competencies for digital healthcare: programming expertise, signal analysis and AI techniques, hardware circuit creation, digital architecture development, and foundational regulatory knowledge.



Key Program Learning Objectives

Upon completion, graduates will demonstrate the ability to:

(1) Apply analytical reasoning and technical problem-solving approaches for medical device engineering.

(2) Create and implement signal analysis methods for interpreting various biomedical signals, including ECG and EEG data.

(3) Identify suitable AI methodologies for digital health solutions and construct clinical decision support systems for healthcare applications.

Qualification Requirements

Graduates must hold at least a Second Class Honours, Level 8 degree (or equivalent international qualification) in physics or experimental physics, electronic engineering, or another relevant discipline as determined by the College of Science. Candidates with a primary degree without honours and with three years relevant and appropriate practical experience may be also considered.

IELTS - 6.5 overall, no less than 5.5 in any one component.
TOEFL IBT - 88 overall 7-11 Listening, 16-17 Speaking, 18-20 Writing, 8-12 Reading
