The two-year Master of Fine Arts (MFA) offers an intensive training program for artists focusing on ecological practices, while the one-year MA delivers graduate-level art education suitable for various professional paths.
Both programs culminate in a final exhibition showcasing individual and group projects, highlighting essential skills for artistic success. Participants will also develop critical thinking abilities in fine art, enabling them to assess their work within broader social, cultural, and theoretical contexts of contemporary art and ecological discussions. MFA candidates additionally design and execute an interdisciplinary collaborative project addressing environmental challenges, either locally in the Burren or internationally.
Career Prospects
Alumni pursue careers in art-related sectors including curation, gallery management, and arts education. The competencies gained through this program apply to diverse professional contexts, tailored to each graduate's aspirations.
