This program is tailored for registered nurses seeking to specialize in Perioperative Nursing. The full-time course spans two calendar years, with instruction delivered through a blended learning approach. This innovative method combines in-person and online education, with the majority of coursework accessible via Blackboard—an interactive platform that links students directly to university resources from their home computers. Participants must attend 12 days of on-site workshops throughout the program. The curriculum consists of six integrated theory/practice modules, each emphasizing the application of concepts to clinical settings. Practice placements enable students to implement newly acquired knowledge, bridging the gap between theory and real-world nursing.
Approved by The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI), this clinically focused program enhances specialized skill development.
Instruction is delivered through a blended format, merging digital and in-person learning experiences.
This flexible educational model allows professionals to balance full-time employment with academic advancement.
