UCD provides two postgraduate programs in creative writing: an MA and an MFA.
The MFA is a higher-level qualification compared to the MA, and in certain cases can serve as a progression from the MA. MFA participants join a more intimate group, benefiting from intensive guidance on their ongoing projects throughout the academic year. This program is ideal for those aiming to finalize a complete manuscript and who have prior training in writing techniques or related disciplines.
